Contributors

We women experience many different situations and are presently at different stages of our lives. I cannot speak for situations I have not experienced so to hopefully reach more women and be relevant to them and their lives I have enlisted some help.

Below are my regular contributors representing the busy uni student juggling work/social life/study/boyfriend and health, also being represented is the busy mum running a household whilst fulfilling her dreams. Hopefully through all our stories and findings we can help or motivate and most importantly – relate.

In future I will be featuring a a few guest bloggers. If there is an area I am not too familiar with but will benefit you, I will endeavour to get a great guest post. Let’s get to know my lovely contributors a bit more…

Nicole  – Journalist,  The Australian Women’s Weekly

My name’s Nicole, I’m 25 and I’m a chocoholic.

Not a day goes by where I don’t have at least a few squares of the good stuff. I love food, enjoy a glass (or two) of moscato and believe exercise is a curse word.

So why has Suzie asked me to contribute to this site? Here’s why…
Suzie and I first met as trainees at work at 19. We would catch-up over lunch and became fast friends. It was also around this time that we joined the same gym. If I knew that I was meeting Suzie it would give me the motivation to put on my runners and head out the door.
I’m a full time uni student and work part time, and between these responsibilities, as well as trying to maintain a social life, my health and fitness falls by the wayside. And as much as I make plans for gym sessions or healthy meals, most of the time something else gets in the way or takes up my time and it becomes my last priority. I’m guessing I’m not all that different from most 20-somethings, who are either time poor or who think that they don’t need to make their health a priority while they’re still young.

This blog will help to make me more accountable for my own health and will get me thinking about ways I can try to incorporate more fitness around my schedule.

Karyn SepulvedaAuthor of Choosing Xaverique (and a busy mum to boot!)

Karyn is a talented writer with a background in children’s theatre and primary school teaching.

Writing her young adult fiction novels keep Karyn busy, along with her 3 year old     daughter, husband and household to run. Karyn strives under pressure and maintains and promotes a healthy positive attitude.

Karyn is pregnant with her second child and will share with you her experiences and struggles and how she stays healthy.  I have asked  Karyn to be a contributor for my blog to represent the busy mums.

As much as I can empathise, I don’t know what it is like to be pregnant, raise a child and struggle to find ‘me’ time; so I have brought Karyn on to be it’s voice.  I am very excited to have Karyn write for the blog because I have heard her stories and look forward to having  you hearing them too!

When was the last time you...
